As we see the vast expanse of the planet, we find a sense that we and all that our minds churn over, like the waves over the sand, are just a tiny spec.
Painting these waves captured my curiosity. They pulled me and and kept me there, mesmerized by the movement and reflection of light. Much like they do in person. It reminded me of how meditative it is to watch them gently dance and turn. I could almost hear the gentle crashing of water on sand, smell the salty air, and taste the pina colada as I sat there painting.
