The Above the Clouds series captures a few brief magical moments in the sky.

On any given flight, you get the google maps satellite view. The gridded farmland, the vast oceans, and the mountains remind you of an atlas. Not here.

Here we were, lost in a blanket of white. Lost in daydreams. Lost in meditative nothingness. Lost in this space of quiet expansiveness between the clouds.

Emerging from the white blanket still between the clouds, they became like the land or the sea below. Sandwiched in a perfect golden sunset.

Transported to a place where we exist without the need for a body, land, or air. This was pure ethereal peace.

And just like that, it was over.

With this series, I want to take you with me on this journey. I want to give us the opportunity to visit this magical space anytime. And the freedom to stay for longer than a brief moment.
